The exhibition lasts for ten minutes, over and over again. Still pieces are continuing, while moving pieces are standing still. The time where Pierre Schaeffer once searched for space has given way to memories.<\/em><\/p>\n<span class=\"indent\"><\/span><em>The temporal within the exhibition&#8217;s publication is orchestrated elsewhere. For now, you are a candle. The traffic has stopped and the time is moving on. The publication is supplemented with twenty-eight metres, sixty-six centimetres and sixty-six millimetres of magnetic tape. It contains instruments being tuned, careless mistakes being written down and the sound feasting upon itself. Each cassette tape holds a precise memory of the time necessary to transfer information from one media to another, to switch sides, to press play and record simultaneously, to drink tea and look out of the dusty window.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the exhibition, a C10 cassette is released and publication is published with contributions by Vivienne Griffin, Monika Lipchitz, Miks Mitr\u0113vics, M\u0101rti\u0146\u0161 Ro\u0137is, Edgars Rubenis, O\u013ca Vasi\u013cjeva, Martijn In T Veld, Edijs Vuc\u0113ns.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Layout design by Ieva Kraule.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Kaspars Gro\u0161evs<\/span>\u00a0(1983) has graduated from the Art Academy of Latvia, Department of Visual Communication. Solo exhibitions:\u00a0<em>I\/O. Without Enemies<\/em>\u00a0at Kim?\u00a0Contemporary art centre (2011),\u00a0<em>H\u00a0<\/em>at\u00a0<em>Ka\u0146epes culture centre<\/em>, Riga (2012). In February 2013 he collaborated with Vivienne Griffin in performance for Cian McConn&#8217;s solo project\u00a0<em>Open Close Thing\u00a0<\/em>at Tintype gallery, London.
