\u201cI move from one place to another. Is it me leaving or is it the next landscape approaching? \/ As I move, I happen to be at the intersection between my own movement and that coming from the opposite direction. \/ Both of these counter directions stay put in me and I become their meeting place. \/ That where I come from and where I will end up, I cannot tell, since none of the movements reveal this. \/ Therefore I just cannot tell you where will I take you.\u201d<\/p>\n

The exhibition consists of three video pieces and an object. Two of the objects are literally depicting signs \u201cChildren\u201d and \u201cNo passing\u201d. The third video consists of two separate shots. The first shows a car with a man and a woman driving it. On the next shot these people are outside the car at the engine compartment and the opposition of the frame places the arms and legs \u201cinside\u201d the car seats. <\/p>\n The exhibition continues to display the work of this video artist, which started this spring as part of the Kim? three year anniversary programme with his exhibition \u201cBlind Sounds\u201d. Indri\u0137is \u0122elzis has participated in exhibitions and art festivals in Germany, the Netherlands and France. Among his most recent exhibitions are: \u201cTo Get Lost in One\u2019s Own Eyesight\u201d on display in C\u0113sis during the summer of 2011, \u201cTo Detect the Enemy\u201d in Zwolle, the Netherlands, during the Beeldbuis video art festival as well as the evening of Latvian video art in \u201cMains\u00a0 d\u2019\u0153uvres\u201d cultural centre at Saint-Antoine, France.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The summer programme at the Kim? \n<\/span>The object is constructed from two \u201cLada 2101\u201d that have been separated in to two identical parts. As a result the both back parts of the cars are united creating one common object that serves as a central object for the exhibition and for the videos exhibited.<\/p>\n
