“Trying to diddle the left hand forefinger, the right hand stretched along the back. The muscles tightened, the legs entangled. The braid almost got entangled as well. The shadow came closer. Then it attacked with everything it fell on. I like to whirl until I feel giddy. ‘It\u2019s neither good nor bad, it\u2019s normal,’ the doctor said. The dowser said nothing he just nodded and wiped his bloody hands on his trousers.”<\/p>\n

Maija Kur\u0161eva has studied visual communication at the Art Academy of Latvia and the University of Arts Berlin (Universit\u00e4t der Kunst Berlin<\/em>). The artist has been participating in exhibitions since 2004, and her works have been exhibited in the Baltic States, Belgium, France, Italy, Russia, Poland, Hungary and Germany.
