The premiere was organized by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tjn.lv\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Centre for Creative Learning \u201cAnnas 2\u201d<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow does a successful scientist, designer, craftsman, photographer or expert of advanced technologies start his or her professional career?\u201d The 22 minutes long film \u201cInformal Education in Latvia and Anna Street\u201d tells the story of eight renowned Latvian professionals and the role of creativity and informal education in their professional lives.<\/p>\n<p>This is the first film in Latvia that utilizes the experience of the Centre for Creative Learning \u201cAnnas 2\u201d and looks into the possibilities children and youths have at informal education studios and workshops. The director and scriptwriter of the film is Dana Ind\u0101ne, operator \u2013 Ritvars Lasmanis, director of montage \u2013 Agnese Ivane.<\/p>\n<p>The film offers the opinions of Dr. Paed. \u017daneta Ozoli\u0146a (Professor at Department of Political Science, University of Latvia), Dr. Hab. Phys. Juris \u017dagars (Director of Ventspils International Radio Astronomy Centre), J\u0101ni B\u0113rti\u0146u (Bentley-Riga Manager, former pupil of \u201cAnnas 2\u201d), Dana Reizniece (Chess Grandmaster, Ventspils High Technology Park Board Member), Vilnis Kaz\u0101ks (President of Latvian Chamber of Crafts), Linda L\u016bse (designer, owner of the gallery \u201cIstaba\u201d), M\u0101ris Balodis (technical designer, former pupil of \u201cAnnas 2\u201d) and Andrejs Grants (photographer, teacher at \u201cAnnas 2\u201d).<\/p>\n<p>The film was followed by a discussion on the role of informal education in the professional and personal development. The participants of the discussion: director of pilot-project Kim?
