Some evening in February, 2012, we gathered in a grim Old Riga’s bar. Sat at the table and talked about drawing and drawings. That day we were Endrju, Frost, Rist, Arturs Krošs, Klāvs Loris, me, and also Tron and Roberts Galviņš, who cracked jokes and made us laugh all the time. We decided that everybody should commit some 10 Lats for the purpose of creating a zine! A while later as a result of a wordplay the curios title “Popper” popped out, and on June 28 we celebrated the issuing of the first volume…

The fourth issue of Popper is devoted to the history theme that at your choosing can be alternatively interpreted as the reconstruction of the past, a local catastrophe, personal private stories, a diary, a non-existent place… A portion of fiction edited by those who were not present, so fitting in the what is art? Centre celebration.
