On April 14, 2011, at 6 p.m. Kim? invited to the second text reading workshop dedicated to the question “What is consciousness?”. It is titled “Consciousness No 2”.
In the workshop philosopher Edijs Šauers commented on fragments from Ludwig Wittgenstein’s (1889–1951) “Philosophical Investigations” (“Philosophische Untersuchungen”; text in Latvian) and Sigmund Freud’s (1856-1939) “Introduction to Psychoanalysis” (“Vorlesungen zur Einführung in die Psychoanalyse”; text in Latvian). Philosopher Uldis Vēgners on his turn will comment on fragments from Edmund Husserl’s work (1859-1938) “The Idea of Phenomenology” (“Die Idee der Phänomenologie. Fünf Vorlesungen”; texts in Latvian) and on pharagraph from his “Logical Investigations” (“Logische Untersuchungen”; text in English and German).
