March 24 – 25, 2011,  the doctoral conference organized by the Art Academy of Latvia titled “Classical Heritage and Its Interpretations” took place at the premises of Kim? Contemporary Art Centre.

Programme of the event offered different readings by emerging and already experienced art theoreticians and artists. Conference report themes are devoted to different aspects of the history of art in Latvia and the world, researches in photography, design, art technologies as well as semiotics and issues related to the contemporary art etc.
