Reading “Algorithm of the Exhibition”

On March 15, 2011, at 6 pm Kim? Contemporary Art Centre invited to attend “Algorithm of the Exhibition” – reading by culture theoretician Kaspars Vanags about work of the remarkable Swiss curator and the legendary “Documenta 5” (1972) at the exhibition “Harald Szeemann: Documenta 5”. Further in the lecture art historian and curator Vilnis Vējš introduced the parallel processes in the Latvian art in 1970s while art historian and curator Ieva Kulakova spoke about curatorial work nowadays.
The exhibition “Harald Szeemann: Documenta 5” from ICI series “Exhibition in a Box” took place at Kim? Contemporary Art Centre till March 27, 2011.
The reading “Algorithm of the Exhibition” was held in Kim?, Riga, Maskavas str. 12/1. The official language of the event was Latvian. Free entrance.
